Ministries

Sunday School

Sunday School, all ages and stages of life, is about educating everyone in biblical knowledge. We have various classes on Sunday Mornings at 9:30 a.m. that meet to encourage and help each other grow in their walk with the Lord. For more information about available classes, check the information desk in the foyer.
Nursery

Nursery, 3 months – PreK, is an engaging and fun experience where toddlers learn how much God loves them, what a special creation they are, and how Jesus wants to be their best friend forever. This is offered for all service times.
Kids

Kingdom Kids, grades K – 4th grade, experience God in a way they will never forget through exciting series they won’t want to miss. It is our goal for every kid to realize that Jesus loves them and has an incredible plan for their lives. They meet every Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m. in the fellowship hall.
Girls

Girls Club, girls ages 3 – 6th grade, is about intentional outreach and Christian discipleship for girls. We teach girls biblical truths that will help them learn to make God-pleasing decisions. They meet every Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall.

Once you get past fifty, the fun has just begun. Harvest Hands is our Senior Adult Ministry that meets monthly to have a time of fun and fellowship with each other.
Jr. High

Anchor 5.8, age 10 – 8th grade, is focused on the issues a Jr. Higher faces on a day to day basis. All of our services have a bit of fun built into them. Youth Ministry

Anchor Youth, grades 6th – 12th, is focused on teaching students to grow in relationship with Jesus and how to live for God in this time in history. Wednesday night services are packed with high energy worship, fun elements, and a relevant presentation of God’s Word for students. They meet every Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m. in the youth room.
Young Adults

Late Night, ages 18 – 35, is focused on teaching young adults to follow God as they move forward in life. During this time we study the word of God, discuss questions that will help discover a deeper relationship with God, pray for each other, and finish the night playing some games and just having fun. They meet every Wednesday night at 8:45 p.m. in the youth room.

EVENTS

WHAT WE BELIEVE

  1. We believe the Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative written Word of God.
  2. We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
  3. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, and bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, His personal future return to this earth in power and glory to rule a thousand years.
  4. We believe in the blessed hope – the rapture of the Church at Christ’s coming.
  5. We believe the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ.
  6. We believe in regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation.
  7. We believe in water baptism by immersion.
  8. We believe the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer.
  9. We believe the baptism in the Holy Spirit, according to Acts:2:44 “And they were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit game them utterance.” (ESV) This is given to believers who ask for it.
  10. We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life.
  11. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation.
